The most sustainable factory
Agrifac’s sprayers are developed and assembled in one of the most sustainable factories in Europe. Agrifac’s BREEAM-certified facility in the Netherlands is powered by 5.000 m² of solar panels and equipped with advanced rainwater harvesting systems.
This factory opened in 2018. By 2019, it had already achieved ‘zero on the meter’ (NOM) status, meaning the solar panels generated more energy than the entire facility consumed. The results from our 50m³ rainwater collection system are equally impressive: all Agrifac sprayers are tested using this collected gray water, which also flushes toilets throughout the facility.
In short, measured over a full year, Agrifac significantly reduces its environmental footprint, proving that high-tech innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Agrifac’s sprayers run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)
Agrifac has fully transitioned to HVO as its primary fuel source. Every machine on the assembly line, in the testing field and leaving our factory is now powered by GoodFuels HVO100, a sustainable diesel alternative that reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 90%.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a renewable, sustainable biofuel made from vegetable oil, waste oil and other renewable raw materials. Unlike conventional biodiesel, HVO is produced through a hydrotreatment process, resulting in a cleaner, more stable fuel.
