When precision spraying becomes part of the routine
Meet Alexander Degianski, a farmer from western Romania in Timiș County, near the village of Giulvăz. Farming is not just his work. It is the life he grew up in and the path he chose to continue. Born and raised on a farm, he is a third generation farmer, carrying forward what his family started.
Alexander runs a large scale conventional arable operation. Wheat, corn, soy, rapeseed and sunflower are all part of the crop rotation. With around 5.000 hectares to manage, efficiency is essential. At the same time, responsibility plays a major role in every decision he makes. One principle guides his approach: using herbicides and pesticides in a rational way, with as little waste as possible.
A choice based on real field results
That principle is what led him to Agrifac and to AiCPlus. Alexander chose a machine equipped with a green-on-green spot spraying system, the first of its kind in Romania. The decision was not driven by novelty. It was driven by the search for a solution that could make a measurable difference in daily field work.“AiCPlus gives me confidence that every spray hits the right target. I am using less product but I am getting better results,” Alexander says.
AiCPlus delivered exactly that. In crops such as sunflower and rapeseed, Alexander has achieved savings of up to 80 to 90%. These figures stand out but the real value lies beyond the numbers. Less product is used, application is more targeted and each pass across the field feels more controlled and precise.
Precision that supports better decisions
For Alexander, AiCPlus is not an abstract technology. It is a practical tool that supports the way he wants to farm. If the goal is to treat only where it is necessary, precision has to be reliable. AiCPlus fits naturally into his routine, helping him apply crop protection products more consciously and with greater confidence across every hectare.
Working together with Agrifac
Another important part of the experience for Alexander is the collaboration with Agrifac. Over time, he worked closely with the Sales team, Service and R&D and he describes the cooperation as genuinely positive. “You feel listened to, taken seriously, and supported when it matters,” he says.
To him, it is a healthy way of doing business that combines professionalism with real enjoyment in the work. Because of that experience, Alexander often encourages other farmers not to overthink the decision. If there is any doubt, his advice is simple: see the machine in action. He regularly invites people to visit his farm, talk openly, review the results, and experience what AiCPlus means in real life.
The perspective from daily operation
On the farm itself, the impact of AiCPlus is also clear to the people who work with the machine every day. Mechanic Cătălin Secoșan, has been working at Forest and Biomass for nine years. When the machine arrived, he noticed the difference almost immediately. Daily tasks became easier, especially thanks to the cameras that support accurate spraying and help reduce herbicide and pesticide use.
After a full season in operation, his conclusion is straightforward. He is satisfied with the machine. It performs reliably, has not caused major issues, and has made everyday work more manageable.
For Alexander and Cătălin, AiCPlus is not a list of features. It has become part of their routine. It is technology that proves its value quietly, by helping them work more precisely, with greater confidence and with less waste.
